The Ascend Foundation and Prodigy Positive Easter Egg Hunt
This is an annual event that we sponsor and partner with Prodigy Positive to celebrate the Easter holiday. This is the official citywide Easter egg hunt for the community. We look to capture the excitement that we all experienced as kids by creating this event for Pontiac and its surrounding community children.

Back To School Rally
We have proudly partnered with the School District of Pontiac and numerous community organizations to put on a return to school event that is prodigious. It
is a fun filled day geared to accommodate 4,000 children. An event that is prepared to feed, entertain and educate the children of Pontiac. They will all walk away with multiple packages of school supplies to prepare them for the upcoming school season.
The Oakland County Sherriff/PSD Trunk or Treat
We have proudly partnered with the Oakland County Sheriff and the School District of Pontiac along with numerous community organizations to put on a Halloween event that is cosmic. It is a fun filled day geared to accommodate 4,000 children. An event that is prepared to feed, entertain and educate the children of Pontiac. They will all walk away with multiple packages of treats and supplies and absolute FUN for a city that has been deprived of so many resources!!!
Feed The Dream Mission - Dominican Republic Rescue Mission
We at the Ascend Foundation have joined the efforts of (GFA) Giving Feels Amazing Foundation in providing certain villages and communities with so needed: food, equipment and supplies. This mission also has the joining of multiple: individuals, companies, and organizations that have come together to raise money for water pumping stations for various villages in the mountain regions of the Dominican Republic. We then travel to the Dominican Republic to assist with the installation of the water wells, as well as distribute food packages to multiple villages. This is a SOUL SHAKING program that we have supported for 5 years and counting!
Man-Up Fathers and Mentors Community Picnic
The Ascend Foundation has happily stepped into the fold with other organizations: United Men In Action, Positive Male Role Model, QTMC, Hit Squad Entertainment, and the Pontiac News to create this monumental event. The MAN UP PICNIC is a Father’s Day program which is FREE for the WHOLE COMMUNITY and it is geared to promote: fathers bringing their sons out and mothers who are looking to put their children in a male mentoring environment, this is it. 2015 marked our 4th Annual Man-Up Picnic!!!! This event we threw brought out over 2,000 people that showed up to be a part of the occasion.
This event provides: UNLIMITED FREE FOOD, TALENT SHOW, BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT, LETHAL DRAFT GREEK AND MASONIC SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT, MOON BOUNCES,
ORGANIZATION AND RESOURCE TENT TO FIND OUT WHAT TO GET YOUR CHILDREN INVOLVED IN, CITY WIDE CHURCH, SOFTBALL LEAGUE KICKOFF, CLIMBING WALL, DANCE OFF, LADIES ZUMBA and DANCE AEROBICS, MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS...IN SHORT, FUNNNNN ALL DAY!!!! This is the promotion of fatherhood and the importance of boys developing into productive men in society and home.
Pontiac/Auburn Hills Community Appreciation/Legends and Alumni Picnic
This is a HUGE all day event that has brought 2 neighboring communities together for one beautiful day filled with food fun and every activity imaginable. We have joined with: Hit Squad Entertainment, Oakland County Health Division, Institution of Population Health, Meet Up and Eat Up as well as the Legends Softball Association to create one monster event for all. This event really goes far in promoting family values and the promotion of loving thy neighbor. This program usually brings about 1,700 people to the venue.
